With L’Ours, the Trou du diable’s beer crafters are proposing an evolving concept: each forthcoming blend will be unique, sometimes presenting stronger flavours, either more acidulous, bitter or fruity.

This blend consists of twenty percent sour rye beer aged for two years in Banyuls barrels, and eighty per cent young season. Its nose with delicate notes rancio and dried fruits may first lead you to believe that this is a sour beer. However, its palate immediately reveals a young, acidulous and slightly oaky beer that delivers a refreshing finish.

Target Clientele

This beer is for people in need of change, but not too much. A perfect introduction in a sour world you might never want to leave.
