SMaSH got its name from the English expression “single malt, single hop”. Hence, it is made of a single type of malt and a single strain of hop, in this case the Tradition, a refined German cultivar. The IPA designation, which usually announces an amber or red beer, offers here a blond beer with greenish highlights. Its nose features slightly spicy, herbaceous aromas with subtle notes of blackcurrant. Its lightly peppery, almost mentholated palate presents a great freshness and a persistent, but very pleasant bitterness.
Perfect mix of old noble beers and the adventurous IPAs of our time, this SMaSH breaks with tradition by using the hop of the same name. It will certainly seduce you with its charming touch of the Old Continent and will surprise you like Sir Matthew Richardson did on one of his construction sites one morning when he felt in particularly fine form. This beer is designed for nonconformists, aristocrats at heart in need of refreshment in the middle of a fierce debate.
