Lindros 88

Lindros 88

With its orangey uniform evoking the colours of the Maple Leaf, Lindros 88 is a rather indelicate beer, except for the lace pattern it will leave on the edge of your glass. On the nose, this Double IPA offers the smoothness of apricots and barley candy. The palate is dominated by dried apricot aromas and tickled with hints of candied oranges, yellow plums and resin. Hold your head high, as this robust nectar is known for its old-school ways and could leave you concussed.

Who it is for

First beer brewed in collaboration with an amateur brewer, Lindros 88 is the work of Sébastien Dessureault and the Trou du diable’s crafters. He had been brewing at home for three years when he received a call from the big club who invited him to create a recipe that would please gifted players as much as amateur-league plumbers. One thing is certain, armchair critics will agree that Lindros 88, inducted player into the Hockey Hall of Fame, was as aggressive on the ice as was his entourage in refusing to allow him to wear the fleur-de-lis uniform.
