SMaSH Wakatu

SMaSH Wakatu

SMaSH got its name from the English expression “single malt, single hop”. Hence, it is made of a single type of malt and a single strain of hop, in this case the Wakatu, in the Maori language meaning Nelson, the area where it is grown. The IPA designation, which usually announces an amber or red beer, offers here a blond beer with greenish highlights. Its nose features slightly spicy, herbaceous aromas with subtle notes of lime peel. Its dry and spicy palate presents a great freshness and a persistent bitterness.

Who it is for

The Nelson area is one of the most privileged regions in the world with its annual 2,400 hours of sunlight and its enviable location, nestled between sea and sky and flanked by mountains. Its climate is mild and its agriculture prosperous. Another privileged area you should not neglect is your piehole when it welcomes this precious and refreshing liquid. This beer is designed for those who love life and who can acknowledge the simple pleasures that every new day brings.
